SAN FRANCISCO, March 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- TuneIn today announced its activation plans for South by Southwest (SXSW) 2017, which includes a presenting sponsorship of the inaugural SXSW Official Podcast Stage March 11-17, plus a TuneIn Studios @ SXSW takeover of Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden. The event will consist of three days of live talk and sports broadcasts during the day, as well as nightly music showcases March 15 – 17.
Through collaboration with music labels Bella Union and Big Machine Label Group, college sports content partner IMG, plus on-site sponsors Esurance, US Bank and IFC, TuneIn offers its deepest and most diverse SXSW activation to date.

TuneIn's presence in Austin for SXSW begins with its presenting sponsorship of the first SXSW Official Podcast Stage, taking place March 11-17 at the JW Marriott Austin. As the presenting sponsor, TuneIn worked in conjunction with SXSW to build out schedule of more than 25 podcasts recording live over eight days.

2017 marks the second year TuneIn will take over the Austin landmark Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden, bringing some of the best listening experiences available on TuneIn to a live audience during SXSW. All audio content produced from TuneIn Studios @ SXSW, located at Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden will stream live on the TuneIn Studios @ SXSW station.
